It's so nice to meet you. I'm Lauren, the one and only caftan connoisseur. You know, not everyone who wears vintage or vintage inspired clothes wants to be authentic to that era. If you do, fabulous! But, if you want to mix with modern stylings...wonderful! I am ready, willing and able to help you do that!
I'm going to use this space to introduce you to women from Old Hollywood who are style inspirations. Now, just because they will mostly be women, does NOT mean men aren't welcome! I think he, she and they all look fabulous in a caftan! If 2020 has taught me anything, its that I want to wear what makes me happy and so should you.
I'm sure I will return to our patron saint of couture, Auntie Mame, but her signature looks always included charm bracelets. They're an easy and fun way to accessorize ANY outfit. They can be a heirloom, passed down from a grandmother, or you can EASILY find one at an antique shop or...perhaps a retro Juicy Couture one in the back of your own jewelry box! They're also a really fun item to build on your own. (Charms are an easy gift for a partners who never know what to get you or friends to give as a remembrance of a fun weekend!) And feel free to STACK them with as many other types of bracelets as you'd like. Remember: you will be noticed, so I wouldn't wear this accessory anywhere you need to be quiet.
